Before we go any further, I’d like to celebrate you for being here.

Because if you are, it means there is a spark in you — perhaps flickering, perhaps raging — that has dared to dream of using your words for a little ~more~ than an unfulfilling 9-5.

You may already be freelance writing in some capacity (chin chin!) or it may feel like you have a ~long~ way to go (don’t we all?).

This letter is going to writers from all over the world (pinch me)! I know for a fact that some of you are now six figure freelancers, some are bravely building your side-hustle, and some are dreaming of escaping the grind but struggle to claim the title of ‘writer’ at all (though you *absolutely* should, you creative geniuses).

Wherever you sit on that spectrum (or beyond it), please know that I see you and I appreciate you — wherever you’re currently at.
