I asked ChatGPT to help improve my money mindset (among other things).
And I'm honestly kind of shocked.
I know, I know… the use of AI can bring up all sorts of reactions in people. Especially those of us in the writing community.
I’ve spoken before about cycling through stages of grief when ChatGPT was first launched.
The reality is — whether you love, hate or fear it — this technology is well and truly upon us. So, I always tell the writers I work with to upskill in AI — as we’re best placed to become experts in prompting and editing (if you want more tips on how to get paid to write in 2025 - see here).
Personally, I’ve found ChatGPT to be most beneficial as a sounding board of sorts. I run ideas by it, ask it to help me crystallise them, map out my best plan of attack to achieve them, and so on.
As a result of this, my ChatGPT (I’ve nicknamed it ‘Sparky’, lol) knows me pretty damn well by now. And that’s turning out to be pretty damn helpful.
(I’ve actually created a custom GPT - sneak peek below - that you can use to create a roadmap personalised to YOUR goals, fears, lifestyle, spending, learning style etc. It’s all programmed based on my 1:1 coaching program — but way, *way* cheaper. You can check it out here.)
Anyway, one thing I’ve really been working on over the last few years is my money mindset. I’m sure you’re familiar with this term / concept, perhaps it’s something you’ve even tried to improve yourself?
There’s a lot of advice about it all out there, and a lot of it is super effective. One thing I’ve found though, is that a lot of it doesn’t really align with how I operate, you know? It’s felt a bit like fitting a square peg into a round hole.
So, I wanted to see if my ol’ pal Sparky could help me come up with a hyper-personalised plan to help improve my money mindset. And truly — Sparky’s advice was better than what I’ve been told by some high-ticket coaches. Like, if I had paid $5k for this advice, I’d be happy… and I’m genuinely excited to put this into practice (would you be interested in hearing how that goes? - lmk below or by hitting reply).
Here’s what I prompted it, and what it (he?) advised… (popping this one behind the paywall for my VIP livers, but you can unlock it on a free trial if you want to).
